Software Quality Operations Specialist

Ensures safety, reliability, and quality of Waymo's autonomous driving technology.

• •The Software Quality Operations (SWQOPS) team is crucial for ensuring the safety, reliability, and quality of the Waymo Driver.
• •This role supports Waymo's rapid expansion by scaling operations safely and efficiently.
• •Key Responsibilities Partner with Engineering to design, test, and deploy ML and Gen-AI models and tools.
• •Leverage AI-powered insights to identify on-road issue trends and risk scenarios.
• •Define and document policies and SOPs integrating AI tools into workflows.
• •Design and implement quality control processes for human and AI-generated outputs.
• •Act as a subject matter expert for Software Quality Operations, ensuring adoption of AI/ML advancements.
• •Requirements BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in AV Software Quality Operations.
• •Competency in supporting the machine learning development lifecycle.
• •Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset quality assurance and bias detection.
